Dreams and Dream Interpretation

Dreams and Dream Interpretation

By Joseph Ho

Jan 23rd, 2009

What is a Dream?

Dream is defined as a sequence of images that passes through a sleeping person, much like a video show except that it also carries some personal emotions. Everyone have dreams but most people do not know that their dreams do have significant impact on their real life. Dream serves to warn, instruct, direct, and foretell future events in a person’s life.

Are dreams significant in a person’s life?

Dreams are the messages of the night. It is also called visions of darkness, because it is during deep sleep that our inner soul becomes sensitive to the spiritual realm. The messages in the dreamscape contain symbols which are specific to the dreamer and so a dream dictionary can not be accurately applied for any serious dream interpretation.

Dreams can truly benefit the recipient only when it is properly interpreted. Some dreams occur from having too much activity during the day and it only reflects our mood, this kind of dream does not carry any significant messages. There are however, certain dreams which bring us warning of future events in our life and these are prophetic dreams and we should pay special attention.

Types of Dreams

There are basically 3 major types of dreams.

Type I is the carnal dreams that come from the internal soul of the person. . Past troubles which we have not properly dealt with can manifest fear, anger, and sadness and caused recurring dreams.

Type II is the Spiritual Prophetic dreams which is sent by God to foretell the future. This type of dream almost always speaks about the future and they are very important to us.

Type III is the dream we get when we are hyper active during the day. This type is more confusing and leads to disturbed sleep since they are haphazard and disjointed.

How are dreams interpreted?

In the bible, Proverbs 18:16, “A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.?

Dreams Interpretation is a gift, it can not be easily learnt in a class setting, but it however can be imparted by a spiritual mentor. Impartation refers to the spiritual laying of hands upon the person and saying a prayer over them.

Dream is a form of divine communication that connect God with to us since God promised to tell his servant what is to come. Dream is a more complete system of authentic communication because it is a four dimensional message, it contains events, people, feelings and words or symbols. Dream can not be intercepted as in any man made device.

The dreams are interpreted much the same as the instantaneous flow of prophetic utterance, meaning given by the Holy Spirit. Peace with assurance that comes from the Holy Spirit will be the only guidance that ascertains the truth. In the book of Hosea 12:10, the bible says “I have also spoken by the prophets, and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets.? This refers to prophetic dreams. Although anyone can claim that they can interpret dreams, the difference between true and false interpretation is that the truth will come to pass.

Philippines 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.?

1Corinthian 14:33, “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.?

JOSEPH THE KING OF DREAMS

Joseph’s first dream was about rising high above his brothers. Joseph’s second dream of rising was about his brothers and parents paying homage to him. God had prepared Joseph to interpret Pharaoh’s dream.

When God sends you two dreams on the same matter, it will surely come to pass without fail. The bible says that a matter must be established by two unchangeable facts; Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1 and Deuteronomy 19:15.

So why did God favor Joseph? Joseph honored his father Jacob and was obedient and trustworthy so he was chosen to be trained in God’s school of adversity. He was told by God what will happen to Egypt. Knowing is only half the solution without the how to solve it, knowledge is useless. God does not give us a warning and then we are to pray about it, in fact, we are to order our life around the dream so that we will not be affected by any crisis.

Joseph’s Interpretation of Dreams

Someone’s problem becomes our promotion and God’s making us famous by marketing us to the key people in the world.

Joseph’s first dream interpretation for the Cupbearer and the Baker in Genesis 40:1, was a preparation for him to meet the most powerful man in Egypt. Joseph’s second dream interpretation regarding the Pharaoh’s two different dreams; one about the corns and the other about the cows was God’s divine plan to exalt Joseph over Egypt. God caused Pharaoh to have those dreams.

Only the anointed one from God is able to answer this riddle. And only Jesus Christ is the baptizer of the Spirit and only Jesus can authenticate a gift and since it’s a gift, not all people are called to be interpreter of dreams. My people suffer from the lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6. But God said in 1 Corinthian 2:9, “However, it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.?

Finally, dream Interpretation is a spiritual gift, and if you have a dream you should consult reputable Christians of the same faith. I pray that you will have divine messages of the night from our Lord Jesus Christ. If you need your dreams to be interpreted you can check out my website at www.kingscepter.com and send me your dreams at prophet3333@yahoo.com. Please indicate the title of your email as dream interpretation. God bless you all.

The Art of Remembering and Interpreting your Dreams

By Judith Orloff, M.D.

Your dreams can reveal many truths about your life. They can provide extraordinary intuitive insights, give you information that can help your health, love life and career. You'd be surprised at the straightforward advice that your dreams give, either spontaneously or on request.

You are in partnership with your dreams. Initiate an ongoing dialogue with them. It's like consulting the wisest old-time family doctor you can imagine who knows you inside out. You can ask your dreams anything-even what seems most impossible. No question is trivial if it is meaningful to you. Expect answers. Some will be direct. Others may require interpretation.

Dreams can keep you well. Dreams provide answers. But first you must retrieve them. Here are my four strategies to remember your dreams

• Keep a journal and pen by your bed.

• Write a question on a piece of paper before you go to sleep. Formalize your request. Place it on a table beside your bed or under your pillow.

• In the morning do not wake up too fast. Stay under the covers for at least a few minutes remembering your dream. Luxuriate in a peaceful feeling between sleep and waking, what scientists call the hypnagogic state. Those initial moments provide a doorway.

• Open your eyes. Write down your dream immediately; otherwise it will evaporate. You may recall a face, object, color, or scenario, feel an emotion. It doesn't matter if it makes perfect sense-or if you retrieve a single image or many. Record everything you remember.

When you're finished, refocus on the question you asked the previous night. See how your dream applies. One, two, or more impressions about the who/what/where of your solution may have surfaced. Get in the habit of recording your dreams regularly. Be assured I've never met anyone who can't be taught how to remember. Keep at it. Remember to practice. Soon it will become second nature to you!

In addition to the practical aspects of remembering dreams, there's an intuitive level to understanding dreams. Reliable intuitive information stands out in very specific ways. Watch for these clues:

• Statements that simply convey information

• Neutral segments that evoke or convey no emotion

• A detached feeling, like you're a witness watching a scene

• A voice or person counseling you, as if you're taking dictation from an outside source

• Conversations with people you never met before who give instructions.

I've found that my most dead-on intuitions either come across as compassionate or have no emotion at all. Develop a careful eye as you practice separating the content of your dreams from your reactions to it. Soon you'll be able to tell what is reliable guidance and what is not.

Be aware that your dreams go by different rules than your waking life. Get ready for a mind shift. Physical laws no longer apply. Gravity changes. In dreams you can fly!

Dreams And Dream Interpretation

Ever since I can remember. Well, let's say ever since I can remember having dreams. I have been fascinated by the whole process. As a child I can remember having wonderful dreams, and also dreams that frightened me and woke me up (nightmares).

As I have grown older I have grown more and more interested in the whole process of dreaming. Why do we dream? Why are some dreams terrifying? Why do we not always dream? And so on. It's an enormous subject, and one that is hardly understood even today, with massive research.

To understand why we dream, and to recognise the meaning of those dreams, plus understanding how, and if, we can use this knowledge in our daily lives, is in itself a dream for many people.

You can find many books on dreams, however mostly they do not really help us as they tend to influence our dreams themselves. These books, or rather the contents of these books find their way into the subconscious, where they enter our dreams in not always a beneficial way.

It is a reliably established scientific fact that everyone dreams. You may not think that you do sometimes, but it is just that you have forgotten your dream(s) as soon as you have woken. We do not always remember our dreams. If we did not dream we would soon be suffering from psychotic episodes and mental imbalance.

A myth that is commonly believed is that of dreaming the same dream over and over again. This does not happen. We may think that we are dreaming the same dream, when in fact there are many subtle differences. We remember the basic theme of the dream but not many of the details. Thus giving rise to the belief.

Nightmares are supposed to be harbingers of doom, or pending disaster, either personal, or more widespread. There is no conclusive proof of this, however nightmares are more common in children than adults, and surprisingly they often occur shortly before a child gets ill. And although everyone dreams, the frequency of dreams, as in number of dreams per night, decreases with age.

Interpreting dreams is an art, not an exact science. Dreams may mean many different things for the same symbols, and there are many different beliefs surrounding the meaning and symbolism of dreams. It is an important part of many primitive and tribal cultures' way of life. Using the interpretation of dreams, usually the dreams of shamans and elders, to make decisions for the whole tribe.

Dreams have played their part in religious traditions also. We only have to read The Bible to realise the important part that dreams play in many of the stories. God appears to many of the leaders of the day "in a dream" which is then usually acted upon.

Dreams do seem to link very much to the days events before the dream. So if you want to dream and remember it, you should think of dreaming during the day (this is not the same as daydreaming) and think of wanting to remember it.

Above all, never be afraid of dreams, adopt and embrace them, they can be a reservoir of aspiration, knowledge, and joy. Uniting the body, mind, and spirit.

How Dreams Help Us in our Life?

Your dreams help you in so many ways, showing you so many things that you really have to learn how to translate them according to the scientific method.

You don't need to write them down regularly if you don't wish to, even though this is recommended.

At least, learn how to translate the intriguing dreams that will make you wonder about their meaning. Usually these are the most important ones.

Many times a single, small dream can reveal so much about you, other people or about the problems that most worry you, that this knowledge is a real salvation. For more details visit to www.joint-venture-guide.com .You'll know if the person you love really loves you, if you'll really be successful in your work, if your future plans will come true and if not, what you have to do to make things develop the way that you desire.

You many need to change your mind about someone or something that you desire, after learning the truth you have ignored that seemed to be so good, but in fact is not.

However, the dream warning will save your life and prevent you from getting involved with the wrong person or spend your money, time and energy in the wrong business.

This way your mental health will be preserved, because a person becomes crazy exactly when they cannot posses whom or what they most desire: this is the perfect opportunity for the wild side of their conscience to imprison them in the labyrinth of craziness.

Craziness is threatening you all the time, only because you inherited a wild, evil and violent conscience, the anti-conscience, that wants to destroy your human side and because you live in a crazy world governed by terrorism, violence, immorality and hypocrisy, where everyone is constantly dominated by their anti-conscience.

You need protection, indispensably!

If you are intelligent and you realize how tragic in fact is the reality for the human being, you must care about the information you can have translating your own dreams.

Your dreams are confused and incomprehensible to your eyes because you don't know how to properly translate their symbolic language. As soon as you start understanding the dream language however, things become simpler and you start collecting the benefits from this occupation. To know more logon to www.jointwebventures.com .I even wrote a special e-book concerning the interpretation of dreams about the person you love, using the examples of the people that have participated in my summer offer up to now (I already have too much material), with the basic dream symbols related to love matters, in order to show you how easy it is to interpret dreams about the person you love, because they are the clearer ones.

This e-book will be available soon. It's being revised now.

Of course, you may send me your dreams for free professional dream interpretation and psychotherapy, the summer is not over. Your dreams will be part of another e-book, about how dream interpretation helps everyone overcome their mental illness and simpler problems, which I'm still writing, even if your dream is about a love matter.

I wrote this e-book separately, exactly because the dreams concerning the person you love are very simple and you must know that.

The unconscious mind tries to show you the truth in the simplest form, exactly because these dreams are the most important ones for you!

What Your Sleep Dreams Are Trying To Tell You

WHAT YOUR SLEEP DREAMS ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU

Spiritual people and Holy books give accounts of persons who dreamed. These dreams often provided prophecy or revelation concerning past, present and future events. Do your personal dreams provide needed information for you? Is someone (such as a friend, loved one, guide, or person who has died and “passed over?) trying to tell you something? Can your dreams help you with career, finances, love and/or social issues? Is your subconscious trying to tell yourself something through your dreams? This article will analyze a real dream that a woman had. This article will give the interpretation of the dream. You as the reader will see how dreams, astrology, astrological devices and other worlds (realms) are all connected into One (John 17:17-21; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 10:30-34).

You might remember that when both the Bible’s Daniel and Joseph interpreted dreams they both said that, “the dreams are but One?. Here is the woman’s dream:

“I have this recurring dream. I am in a lifeless desert. A little black girl (who looks African) is looking at me. She is abandoned. She is hungry and skinny. She is pointing at an evergreen holly. I can tell that the holly is poisonous. What is this dream trying to tell me??

First we’ll look at the overall interpretations in this dream. We will then put it all together:

Black-The girl’s color black must be taken into consideration with your entire dream. Black usually refers to your subconscious. Your subconscious is connected to other worlds (realms). Black in this case appears to mean that you are feeling “bleek? or “concerned? about thing(s) in your life.

African-When a female dreams about Africa, it denotes that she will do much travel, but will not benefit or feel personal joy from such travel. In fact, she might even loose wealth, emotions, health, and time.

Desert or wilderness-This usually denotes something in your life that has been left (abandoned). It might denote that something in your life needs attention and nurturing. In Tarot Cards, the Empress (Mother Earth) usually appears when nourishing or nurturing is needed. You also see this Empress (Queen) at Revelation 12:1-12.

Female-Child-Girl- Our spirit guides or angels often appear to us in our dreams as youthful, young, mature but beautiful. My deceased Grandmother never appears as an “old lady?.  One of my Grandmother’s favorite Tarot card communications is “Temperance?. Temperance is a woman over a pool of water blending or compromise which is a form of balance. Balance is a dominant trait of her zodiac sign which is Libra. She also speaks to me through the Justice (scales of Libra) Card and the Strength card. I am the Lion (Leo) and she is the nurturing woman with the Lion. This card is number 8. I recently dreamed about a pool table with an eight ball as one ball “scratched? into the pocket or hole. The Black ball and the pocket denoted the other world or “world of the dead? as the Egyptians called it. The “scratch? was my Grandmother trying to tell me something. And the “pool? table was “Temperance’s pool?. Temperance is one of my Grandmother’s favorite Tarot cards to communicate with me. The Black African Female Child in your dream acted as your “spirit? guide by pointing you to the evergreen holly. I fully believe that this “girl? was just “you?, but was also your “guide?.

Hungry-Skinny-Sick- In the context of your dream it appears that you are being warned. Your present way of decision making and actions will leave you “deserted? and “impoverished?. The Black African Girl is pointing you to the “truth?. For some strange reason, you rejected what she is trying to tell you. So let’s examine what the Black girl (your guide) is trying to tell you (by pointing to it).

The Evergreen Holly-The Holly has two significant interpretations: 1) The Holy signifies holiday festivities, friends, family, partying, and celebrating life. For some reason, you presently view these things as “poisonous? or “deadly? to you in some way, 2) The Holy is actually Baal’s possession and belongs to Baal and Ashtoreth’s “grove (2 Kings Chapter 23). The Bible talks a lot about green grass, the fig tree, the fir, the tree strump and other plant life that symbolized Baal and His grove. Baal is the God of the Underworld (or world of the dead). The Bible refers to this location as the “bottomless pit?, the “sea?, the “pit? and other names. Your subconscious and dreams are directly connected to this “location?. The Jesus of the Bible is taken from Baal’s son Tammuz. That’s where we get the Cross from. You can do your own research to verify this information. When we accept this Truth, we will be in a better position to receive the help that those on the other side are offering us. So the holly and celebrating life is not poisonous. Let’s see why you feel that festivities are poisonous.

Poison-It appears that somewhere in your life, you were led to believe that personally enjoying life was “bad? and that you should always put the needs of others before your own. Yet, your own inner person (that child) and your spirit guide (that child) are telling you that others will not be there for you, and you will be left totally deserted and destitute. There is totally nothing wrong with putting yourself first and enjoying your life. You only have one life to live. If you associated holidays and festivities with false worship, then this is your Wake Up call. Everything humans do on Earth is directly related to the Gods who caused us to Become. These were called the Elohim in the book of Genesis. Religions just changed the names of these Gods to fit in with their beliefs.

Dream Summary: Start putting yourself first. Start having fun. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Actually study the history of religion to see the Truth. There are worlds and realms where beings (many of them are your loved ones who have passed on) are waiting to talk to you. They relentlessly attempt to get your attention. Your dreams and subconscious is one of their best means to contact you.

The Hidden Meaning Behind Dreams

Carl Jung discovered the unique method of dream interpretation. I continued his research, discovered the meaning of more dream symbols and the existence of a wild and primitive conscience that causes craziness to our conscience.

If you learn how to interpret your dreams by using this scientific method, you will be able to penetrate the hidden world of the unconscious and anti-conscience, in addition to understanding how your human conscience works. What does this mean? This means that you will penetrate your mind and start understanding why you behave the way you do, why you think and feel the way you do and so on.

You will then start understanding your mistakes and to correct them and develop your conscience. This means that you become more intelligent because you start paying attention to other psychological functions that you have at your disposition. You can learn many things and better judge the world: these are the functions you never use because you are always dominated by only one fully developed psychological function, which you prefer, and another one that is only partially developed and only partly helps you.

In the beginning, your dreams will help you develop you conscience by showing you all the aspects of reality that you have to consider when you make your decisions or judge someone. For example, if you belong to a psychological type that is extroverted and based on sensations, you will care only for the way you feel, the food you eat, the clothes you wear and all the material pleasures you can have.

What can happen to you? A lot!

If you don’t think logically or analyze your life seriously, you’ll surely face many problems in your life. On the other hand, if you don’t pay attention to your feelings but only care for the gratification of your senses, you may get involved with someone you don’t really love but who can give you the material pleasure you desire…only to discover later that you cannot live with that person no matter how much money they may have.

If you don’t pay attention to what you “can guess? about each person, to the impression and the feeling they give you, you are ignoring a very important psychological function whose functionalism is a mystery—intuition. This psychological function is in fact the ability to predict the future without any logical explanation besides the impressions that you obtain about someone or something. This psychological function when completely developed can help you actually guess, for instance, the person who will buy your products and who will never do that. You can understand from the beginning who is the right person for you and immediately decide the next actions to take.

When this psychological function is not well developed, you receive no help in your decisions. You cannot guess anything about what you are trying to examine.

Therefore, when you completely develop your conscience through dream interpretation, you start discovering the hidden meaning of reality that you could not see before because you were too ignorant and based on only one entire and one partial psychological function each.

On the other hand, when you completely develop your conscience and eliminate the dangerous influence of the wild and primitive anti-conscience, you discover how reality is prepared and how you can transform it according to what will bring you good results.

You acquire a “third eye? that can read and decipher the symbols existent not only in dreams but also everywhere else, and you will be guided to solve all the problems of your life.

When you reach this level, you will learn the meaning of many other things that you now ignore. You will learn how to think according to another system of logic that is completely different from the selfish logic that you use now, in addition to understanding the meaning of life and death.

You can learn all that you wish by interpreting your dreams, and you can interpret everything that happens to you in your daily life just as you interpret dreams, and thus have more information about reality, other people and the future.

Learn How to Interpret a Dream

A dream enthusiast once said “Like dreams, small creeks grow into mighty rivers.? I believe your dreams can grow to have great meaning and through dream interpretation we can have a better understanding of this.

Having the ability to interpret dreams can give you insight into what your day will be. Most people feel that dreams are a complex coded messages that come from the unconscious mind. Those who are able to decipher them will be given much knowledge and truth.

The only person who can decipher and interpret your dreams are you. For those of you who have never done it before there are many “Dream Dictionaries? that will help you to describe what each part the your dream may mean or symbolize. Even the same recurring dream may have many different meaning. It all depends upon who is dreaming it. In dream interpretation it all depends on what it means personally to you.

As soon as you wake up the first thing you will want to do write down what happened in you dream so you don’t forget. I know that we can often forget parts of our dreams as quickly as they come. That is why you have to write it down when you can. Every detail needs to be recorded no matter how insane it might sound to you.

When you have finished the description you need to ask yourself “How did my dream make me feel?? and write that down. Then ask yourself “What real life occurrence does my dream remind me of?? and write that down as well. More often then not this will be the real situation in your life that is being depicted in your dream. If you have this same feeling in your dream then you are doing great. You may have to break down your dream to understand the full meaning and analyze each part carefully asking yourself the same questions.

Remember that the first few times you do it will not be easy and you are bound to make a few mistakes. You need to practice at it to improve upon it. Only then will you succeed at dream interpretation. Also remember to trust what your instincts are telling you. If something seems important to you then most likely it is. Don’t get too logical.
